Cutting Cord Mantra: Reclaiming Your Energy and Higher Calling

Updated: Jan 22

In our interconnected world, the bonds we share with family and friends can be both a source of support and a potential barrier to our higher calling. Many individuals are unaware that their energy can be influenced by those closest to them, inadvertently creating blocks that prevent them from pursuing their true path. If you've been feeling weighed down or hindered by the energies surrounding you, it's time to explore the powerful practice of cutting cord ceremonies.

Before explaining how to conduct a cutting cord ceremony, it's essential to understand energetic cords. These invisible threads connect us to people, places, and experiences. While many of these connections are positive, others can drain us or limit our potential. Energetic cords can form from various emotions—fear, guilt, obligation, or unresolved conflicts. As we grow and evolve, some of these connections can hold us back from living authentically and pursuing our soul's mission.

The Signs You Need to Cut Cords

Feeling drained, experiencing self-doubt, facing emotional turmoil, and finding yourself in a state of stagnation can all be signs that the energies of specific individuals around you may negatively affect your well-being. Constant fatigue after interactions, questioning your worth or purpose, experiencing intense emotions without a clear cause, and feeling stuck in decision-making can indicate that unhelpful energetic connections are draining your energy and hindering your progress.

The Cutting Cord Ceremony

  1. Set your intention: Before you begin, take a moment to reflect on your intentions for the ceremony. Identify specific relationships or situations that you feel are draining your energy. Write down these intentions to solidify your purpose.

  2. Create sacred space: Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed. You may want to set up your space with candles, crystals, or essential oils that resonate with your energy. This will enhance the atmosphere and help you feel grounded.

  3. Ground yourself: Sit comfortably and take deep breaths slowly.

  4. Visualize the cords: Close your eyes and visualize the cords connecting you to the people or situations you wish to serve. Notice the thickness, color, texture, and how they make you feel.

  5. The Cutting: Picture a bright, shimmering light surrounding you. For example, I visualize a dark pink glow around my entire body, similar to how Goku (Dragon Ball Z) transforms into his Super Saiyan form. As you focus on this light, visualize you cutting through the cords. You can imagine using golden scissors or a gentle flame to burn through the ties. As you do so, say the following mantra: "I release you with a full heart, with love for the place you once held in my life. May you be happy in the life you have chosen. I am now taking back all the energy that has been taken from me consciously and unconsciously and I return the energy that I still hold from you. I am free from the ties that tie us. May all the cords be cut, transmuted, and dissolved. May all energy return to its original sender with peace, love, and forgiveness. This is now complete and sealed."

  6. Call back your energy: Once you've cut the cords, take a moment to visualize and feel your energy returning to you. Imagine it flowing back into your body, filling you with strength, clarity, and purpose. As you do this, state: "I call back my energy from all people, places, and situations that do not align with my highest self. I am whole, empowered, and on my true path."

  7. Offer gratitude: Finish your ceremony by expressing gratitude to the Most High, your Spirit team, yourself, and the people you've separated from. Thank them for their lessons, and release them with love.

Moving Forward

After the ceremony, it is essential to implement its actions in your daily life. Be mindful of your energy and pay attention to the relationships you nurture. Surround yourself with those who inspire, uplift, and support your journey toward your higher calling. Cutting cords is not a one-time event but an ongoing practice. Periodic check-ins and ceremonies can help you maintain your energetic health and align with your soul's purpose.
