Within the last three months, I have taken three courses for my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Due to financial difficulties, I had to move out of my apartment. I began working as an Adult Protective. I am an investigator and am building my YouTube channel, Whispering Bliss. My channel provides spiritual messages to promote personal growth, harmony, well-being, and transformation. Despite all this, I am a mother of three beautiful children and am living a new chapter in my life.
My commitment to my education
The last conversation I had with my grandmother before she passed away from cancer, her wish was for me to go to school and do something with my life. I went to Clayton State University for a year before I served in the Marine Corps. However, I continued to pursue my education after my son was born. Due to my responsibilities in the military and personal life, I could not go to school all year round. I have been pursuing my bachelor's degree for seven years. I also changed my degree from Marketing to Criminal Justice, which extended my graduation date. My commitment to my education is because of my grandmother, and I am dedicated to living out her wishes for my ancestors, myself, and children. "I love you, Grandma, and I will forever keep you close to my heart"!
Moving out of my apartment
Moving out of my apartment was a bittersweet experience; while it was undeniably beautiful, the reality of affordability nudged me toward a difficult decision. Due to the military and lifestyle, I am so used to my independence that it wasn't easy for me to ask for assistance, but I am thankful for my children. Because I have them, I could not allow my pride to get the best of me. Family, employees at Bruce W. Carter Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and employees at CareerSource South Florida were extremely helpful and supportive during these times.
Working as an Adult Protective Investigator
When the position of Adult Protective Investigator for the Department for Children and Families became available, I was seeking jobs that would allow me to continue being of service and helping others dealing with challenging situations, so I was very grateful for being accepted for the job. However, it is a massive shift that I have to make mentally. I've served in the Marine Corps for nine years, where everything was fast-paced and intense, and you were expected to get it your all every day, mentally and physically. However, with this position, I am utilizing my interpersonal skills. Embracing this new role not only allows me to continue my dedication to service but also enables me to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. While the pace may differ, the core values of integrity, perseverance, and selflessness remain constant.
Building my YouTube Channel, Whispering Bliss
Starting my YouTube Channel, Whispering Bliss, was a leap of faith I took around six months ago. It was born from a deep-seated passion for spirituality and a desire to share insights with others on their journey toward self-discovery and inner peace. Nearly a year ago, I delved into the world of divination tools, beginning my exploration with oracle cards. The Rose Oracle by Rebecca Campbell was the first deck I purchased, and its profound symbolism and intuitive guidance ignited a spark within me. As I immersed myself further, I gradually transitioned into tarot readings. Through my journey with these tools, I began to discern patterns, gain insights, and navigate life's challenges more clearly. Inspired by this transformative process, I created my deck of cards, infusing it with my unique perspectives, experiences, and spiritual insights.
On Whispering Bliss, my videos serve as a platform to share these spiritual messages with others. Utilizing oracle cards, tarot decks, and my deck of cards, I offer general guidance and intuitive interpretations to uplift and inspire viewers on their spiritual path.
