1 Year Anniversary

Updated: Jul 3

Reflecting on the past year, I'm reminded of the journey that has brought me to where I am today. It all started when I decided to leave the Marine Corps and prioritize my role as a single parent to my three children. It was a tough choice, but I knew it was necessary for our well-being. I remember feeling lost and uncertain about the future, but I knew I had to trust myself and my abilities. I started this blog to process my thoughts and emotions, and it quickly became a source of comfort.

Fast forward to today, and I'm proud to say that I've been able to turn my passion into a career. I've been able to balance my responsibilities as a parent with my pursuit of education and entrepreneurship, and I've found a sense of purpose and fulfillment in sharing my spiritual readings with others through my channel on YouTube and being a Lifestyle & Personal Development Blogger. It's not always easy, and there have been plenty of challenges. But through it all, I've learned valuable lessons about resilience, self-care, and prioritizing what truly matters. As I look to the future, I'm excited to see what the next chapter holds, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing my journey with all of you.

What were the most significant accomplishments or mistakes of the past year?

The past year has been a transformative one, marked by significant accomplishments. One of the biggest highlights was recognizing when I was falling short financially and seeking help, which took courage, and I'm proud to have taken this step towards financial stability. Another major accomplishment was starting my YouTube channel, where I share my spiritual readings with others. This passion project allows me to connect with like-minded individuals and share my gifts with the world. Additionally, leaving Miami, FL, for mental and financial stability was a bold move that profoundly impacted my well-being.

While there have been many accomplishments, there have also been some mistakes that I've learned from. One of the biggest mistakes was not planning for financial stability earlier on. Looking back, there were steps I could have taken to build up a safety net or avoid financial struggles altogether. Another would be not setting clear goals or expectations for blogging and my YouTube channel, contributing to uncertainty and frustration early on. Despite these mistakes, I'm grateful for my opportunities and am excited to continue growing and learning.

Summary

As I look back on the past year, I'm reminded of the incredible journey I've been on. It's been a wild ride, from leaving the Marine Corps to prioritizing my role as a single parent to being a student and finding purpose and fulfillment in blogging and sharing my spiritual readings with others. Despite the challenges and setbacks, I've learned valuable lessons about resilience, self-care, and prioritizing what truly matters. While there have been mistakes, such as not planning for financial stability earlier or not setting clear goals for my channel, I'm grateful for the opportunities and excited to see what the future holds. As I move forward, I'm committed to continuing to grow, learn, and adapt, using the wisdom gained from my experiences to navigate the ups and downs of life with confidence and clarity.
